Lovely tea and cake shop, beautiful cakes!!
Why did I take so long to try a gelato from this cafe? Today it was sunny and so I stopped for a take out two scoops of ice cream in a biscuit cone. So glad I did as the cafe is really pretty and the staff friendly. I chose vanilla and blackcurrant & liquorice scoop. In Italy I’ve had liquorice gelato and loved it but I’ve never seen it in the uk. Both scoops of gelato were delicious and rich and the deep flavour of blackcurrant and liquorice is earthy and moreish. The cake selection looked great. Cant wait for another gelato from Cafe Gelato as this is one of the best I’ve had outside of Italy.
My favourite cafe in Lincoln! There’s always such an amazing selection of delicious cakes and cookie bricks, delicious ice cream flavours, and a variety of cold and hot drinks. Brilliant cafe, and the staff are so lovely! Highly recommend!
The price-performance ratio is very high and it is definitely the best gelato experience I have had in the UK. There are many flavors to choose from, and even more, the chocolate ice cream cone. Both flavors are only 6.3 pounds, which definitely worth it in UK! by the way lemon and pistachio are definitely highly recommended
Lovely little cafe. The decorations are so cute. It's a little pricey however it's what you'd expect from a small business so don't mind paying that bit extra. I got a cookie pie and hot snores hot chocolate. They were both presented beautifully and looked very appealing. However I did find that the cookie pie filling tasted like it had been left out a while so it wasnt as enjoyable -- note I did go on a Sunday. So it might just be that it was sat out a while. The hot chocolate was lovely if not a little sweet. Was overall a nice expirence ans the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
This is my favorite place to go in Lincoln they have the most amazing cakes and Macaroons! They have the best drinks selection too and the gelato is perfect! The staff make you feel so welcome as well and are so helpful. I take my family here all the time it’s our go to for treats! Oh and the insta worthy decorations. Honestly can’t fault the place.

This is such a wonderful place to grab an ice-cream if you are about. Wide selection that changes often with included vegan options so that you can come back and try something new each time!! Their cones are just delightful, and you can even go for a large cone and multiple scoops if you want to indulge. Highly recommended, especially as the staff always make you feel welcome. They are very friendly and nice! Many thanks for the times we have been in!!
